So I was at work when I got this message on my Twitter Feed:

“Yo, did you hear about Larry Fish’s Daughter?”

I had no idea what that message meant but a quick search on Google gave me all the info I needed. Laurence Fishburne’s daughter Montana has decided to make a foray into X-Rated Video. According to many reports she is going to be a featured player in Vivid Video’s new feature from their Sex Tape Line (Really there are so many Sex Tapes being forwarded to you that you have to come out with your own line?)

What folk don’t know is that she made this announcement with Brian Pumper some time before the Vivid Thing broke out:

Already there are leaks of the uncut video from making the rounds.

As quickly as the association with Brian Pumper went it faded fast as she stated with this interview she did with BlackVoices.

I can’t imagine what Laurence is going through right now. I had this type of question posed to me by friends for both my daughter and my son and I think I could be level headed about the whole thing. The child is 19 and she could do what she wants to, but there are reports coming out right now that says she’s doing this for some Get Back because Laurence cut her off when she reached 18:

Watching this story unfold, I’m reminded just how sideways this is looking for everyone involved. Back when Montana was doing this for the small company and doing Ethnic Porn it wasn’t a story. But all of a sudden its blown up into this big thing because she’s signed with Vivid?

And for what I read so far, she’s doing this to either 1) Get back at Daddy and/or 2) be like her idol Kim Kardashian (I can’t say why Kim was not able to “act” her way out of that wet paper bag she called “Kim Kardashian, SuperStar“.

I’m rambling and I guess I should stay on on what this post should be about – How are father’s supposed to act when their Baby Girl’s get into porn/stripping? Are the rules different when the Father (or mother for that matter) is famous? I mean on one hand the girl is woman enough to do on their own but damn, Daddy is Furious Styles/Cowboy Curtis/Morpheus. Somewhere someone’s reputation is getting sullied by all this and at this point I’m not sure I can say whose rep is going to take the most hit for this.

Kim Kardashian has seemingly swept this by the wayside that people are not even talking about this anymore (I guess when you date TWO NFL players, have a hit reality show and mix it up on Dancing With The Stars folks will forget you had sex on camera.)

I personally am going to sit back and watch this drama unfold. Like T.O. Said “Get Your Popcorn Ready“
