According to Several Internet sites, Season One Flavor Of Love Winner, Nicole Alexander aka Hoopz has a Sex Tape that is due to hit the streets as of July 15.
Per Hoopz’s admission this tape was done with a boyfriend that she was involved with several years ago. The tape itself has found its way into the hands of a sex tape broker by the name of Mr. Zzee.
Of the preview it looks as if it was done on the cheap with a single camera. I’m sure more pictures an vids will be out before the release of the tape online and on DVD.

I just found out that a favorite porn star of mine has been retired since December of 2008. I try as best as possible to keep up with a number of porn stars but when it comes to Porn Stars of the P.O.C. variety you kinda have to get your info were you fit in.
So while working on my Porn Stars on MySpace/Facebook post I noticed that Lexi Cruz has retired from the game.
What?!?!
I didn’t get an email about that one and I thought I knew everything about the woman.
This incident although not tragic (just slightly disappointing as I won’t get to see her beautiful frame anymore) does shine the light on a very important point:
The lifespan for P.O.C. Porn Stars isn’t as long as we might think it would be.
According to the Book Money Shot: The Wild Nights and Lonely Days Inside the Black Porn Industry by Lawrence C. Ross Jr, many stars have a goal to make as much money as possible then get out. Usually that means doing a number of high quality scenes, getting your website up then making money from fans who want to see you in all of your glory.
Italia Blue is a prime example of this trend as she was able to do no less than 6 films, build up a fan base then drop out building high expectations for her fans. She’s recently resurfaced with a brand new body and a brand new website charging clients 29.95 a month to join.

Just think what would be easier: You manage your own content then charge 100 or more members 29.00 a pop for your content (Raking in $30,000 a month) or have to deal with a system that counts you even less that white co-stars in pay and role selection.
I don’t knock the hustle but it just shows to me the problem of lax production values and lack of quality films can do to these women.
Is there any reason why women like Victoria Allure and Lexi aren’t in the business while women such as Belladonna and Jenna Jameson have been allowed to branch out in to other ventures within the the porn industry?
Victoria has branched out to to creating her own agency and is looking to recruiting other actors of color looking to get into the business … as for Lexi … I’m not sure what she’s doing now she’s “retired.”
Again its not all gloom and doom for your major P.O.C. Porn Stars. Pinky, Jazmine Cashmere and Jada Fire are still putting in work even though they have been in the game for a long time. Male stars such as Delvin Weed, John E. Depth and Mr. Marcus have been putting it down for years.
I think the difference between the ones with longevity is that P.O.C. men have been requested more by white directors for films outside of a urban or ethnic label.
Mr Marcus and Jada Fire have frequently been involved in several Interracial series allowing them to gain fans on both sides of the color line.
I think this has to do with a number of factors but most importantly it has to do with the fact that producers allow black men and women to follow into that overly sexual stereotype that they want nothing more than to have sex with the women of white men. Or the fact that black women are merely looked at as unconscious sexual beings created to serve white men.
Wrong as it is I believe this has happened because this business is controlled in most part by white men. White men will put on screen what they and their contemporaries feel comfortable with.
As quoted in Money Shot (from a study by Dr. Mireille Miller-Young in 2005):
Because the adult industry seeks to manufacture images of White female sexuality as the ideal of beauty and womanhood that its mainly white male consumer base seeks to access (at least in the realm of fantasy), Black women’s sexuality stands at an alienated position to the racialized economy of desire. Although most of the constructions of women’s sexuality in hard-core tend to be reductionist images of women as hyper-erotic specimens of Tits and ass, Black women feel particularly objectified as the Other. This simultaneous desire for and disavowal of Black women’s sexuality maintains their status as marginal fetishes in relation to White women.
In other words Black Sex in Porno is always going to be looked on as some fetish like people who are into S&M and feet. That is why you get the porno covers that focus on P.O.C.’s asses rather than their acting ability.
I once read that Obsession could not get work outside of Urban Pornography because of the number of tattoo’s and piercings she has … but somehow Belladonna still gets works even though she his fully Tatted and seeming presented as sexy?
I don’t want to use this blog to rail on the establishment as much as I have but I just want some balance between what is out there and what porn should be in some cases. Women comprise 40% of the porn watching audience but many of the women that I speak to don’t find that this porn speaks to them directly. I think that many women of color get into the business for one reason or the other but the dynamics of the business force them out.
There is no reason that beautiful women such as Lexi or Victory should not have the careers that Delvin or Jack Napier have. It’s just sad that even their retirements don’t the fanfare that their fair skinned contemporaries get.

I used to have a sugardvd.com account (which is like an an Adult NetFlix) which allowed me to rent a movies titles. However I found I had to give it up and turned to message board and other blogs on the internet because it used to bother me whenever I visited my sugardvd or the local video store and same titles kept popping up and I didn’t see any variety in the Black section.
Downloading Clips from the internet blogs and message board seemingly was the easiest to capture and review. That is how I became knowledgeable in certain actresses or certain series by getting those scenes and reviewing them without the weight of their terrible titles or racist themes.
That’s to going outside the box, I came to know actresses like Lexi Cruz, Jazmine Cashmere, Injoi and Vida Valentine.
But I found more often that naught I wasn’t happy with the selection that was out there. I mean I love a good nasty throwndown on film but like my Gangsta Rap, I needed something else to balance it out with. There wasn’t the type of porn out there that I hope that I could watch with a girlfriend or wife so she could feel comfortable with watching.
Based on my own experiences, I’ve come up with 6 Things I’m Not Feeling In Porn Right Now
6) Women Who Get The Short End of the Stick in Porn. There are a lot of reasons why I hear porn in bad. However the majority of porn out there does not help the argument. I know a lot of women who watch porn. Specifically they are women of color … and they complain frequently of the lack of porn that speaks to them. The want want what our Caucasian sisters and brothers want: Movies with good story lines and people with good/great bodies. For a black male such as myself I can do though a list of hundreds of good looking women doing porn … Women: Not so much. Women have to see men they wouldn’t normally talk to in the street who’s only reason they are on camera is that they can get hard on camera. Or they get movies that leave them out of the mix altogether. I think that Pimp Juice is a great series for men and that’s because females can’t get down with it because they are not a fan of the Money Shot (As my friends frequently tell me). Why hasn’t some director or producer taken notice that this is an untapped source of revenue and want to attempt to milk it for all its worth? How hard is it to make movies for women of color that doesn’t include the cum shots in the face that turn them off?
5) Gimmick Porn Actresses: I get it everyone has to have a hook in order for you to separate from the pack. Cheeroke-D-Ass has a big ass, Pinky has pink hair … but Aurora Jolie? Aurora, her big claim to fame is that she’s the first vaginal virgin to do porn. She says she’s saving that for someone special but guys have gone in her ass and shot up so much nut in her face that if you put a mustache on her she’s an extra of Oz. When did folk start resorting to the Bill Clinton Rule of Law when describing sex? I’m sorry to say it dear but just because you’ve only done it one way means that you’re not longer a virgin. If the three letter word comes at the end of the act (oral, anal or vaginal) it means that you are no longer a virgin. So lets stop that before it gets too out of hand and focus on good acting and production. (Note: Aurora has lost her virginity but she will only do it on camera when her website is up an running … which mean’s that she’s only going to do it for 9.99 a pop)
4) Gimmick Movie Themes: Look I don’t mind the fact that there are fetishes, hell I have them. But don’t keep hitting me with the same theme with a hundred plus movies. First it was Vanity titles, then ghetto cheerleaders, then creampies, then wet asses. (On a side note can we please stop with all of the shots with people pour wet stuff over woman’s booties before they get down to business. Did I miss the memo which told me that all the rage?) We should stop this too and put out a variety of different titles and stop trying to hit me over the head with just one. Now its doing Porn Spoofs of TV shows and sitcoms. I mean just today I just got a Tweet from Kapri Styles that she’s doing one for the Jeffersons. The Jeffersons?!?!?! Who wants to see George and Weezie getting buck wild?
3) The “Rap”-I-zation Of Porn: I like rap, I like sex … I’m not sure I’m a fan of seeing them mixed together. After Snoop hit it big with his own porno, it seemed like everyone decided to start putting out movies that had a rap component. Either they had a “music video” by an unknown rapper and the porn chicks or they had a Porn actor who was also a “part-time” rapper. I don’t want to watch a porn where some dude with 10 pounds of bling on trying to sex down this woman in a movie. It doesn’t very comfortable for the girl and I think folk need to stop it.
2) Bodies In Porn: There are some girls in the industry, who should not be doing porn. Either they are to far in either extreme … too fat and too skinny or they look like crack heads. And if its bad for us … I don’t know how you women watch porn with the lack of men of looks out there. This guy who looks like Shrek is currently doing porn … how is that sexy for a woman??
1) The Obvious Racism and Sexism in a Business Owned and Run by White Men: I struggled with putting this one on the list. I know that for the most part I’m feeding the beast, but I look at it like reducing my carbon footprint. To that end, I do a lot of research in the companies that put out the pictures before watching movies. I stay away from companies who’s titles are blatantly racists (“Nappy Headed Hoes” comes to mind), I stay away from website who’s copy is written in way that clearly is disparaging to the sister (I could repeat some here but what’s the point). I know actor/actresses got to eat but damn is a paycheck worth being called a “Black Bitch” while people cum in your face (Ghetto Gaggers-no I won’t put a link to it), is a paycheck worth you acting like the stereotypical thug while dicking down the local white girl (Monster Dicks and White chicks). The more that we fall for this stuff the more they are just going to keep doing.

Ida Ljungqvist, a 27-year-old model born in Tanzania becomes the 50th Playmate of The Year and the first from the continent of Africa.
The former Miss March 2008 was awarded the title at a ceremony held at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas by Playboy founder Hugh Hefner himself. Along with the title, Ida Ljungqvist received a new Mazda 6, an engraved bottle of Patron Platinum, and a check for $100,000.
